Swiss watchmaker JeanRichard, a member with Girard-Perregaux of the Sowind group, has signed a three-year timekeeping and sponsorship agreement with the organisers of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) championship. Despite a gloomy economic environment and adverse exchange rate effects, the Swatch Group virtually maintained its 2003 net profit at the 2002 level. An increase is expected for 2004.
